If anyone really hates defeat from the bottom of their soul, it's the first Czech to ever fight in the UFC.
Fortunately, Karlos Vemola doesn't have to deal with this scenario often thanks to his performances, but when it comes to it, he clearly doesn't like it. Even with hindsight, he's not seen to accept defeat.
Almost two months have passed since the rematch between Karlos Vemola and Patrik Kincl, but it seems that this topic will be relevant for a long time. A very unique scenario of the fight caused that both fighters were sure of their points lead. Sad and defeated in the end, Vemola walked away and had to accept his second defeat in the yellow and black organization.
"I felt despair after my last game. I was convinced I was winning. People who know me so well know that if I knew I was losing, I'd be out there fighting to exhaustion. I wouldn't care if I got a KO. In the end, all anyone cares about is who won anyway. If it's a knockout, submission or on points, it doesn't matter. A loss is a loss," Karlos found a moment he regrets, which he mentioned in an interview with rapper Rhythm on his YouTube show.
"When it was over, I tell him the belt is probably gone. He replied that he accepted it. He thought he had lost himself! Even his best friend, David Kozma, said after the fourth round that it was going to be very difficult to turn this around. I'm not mad at the judges for giving it to him. I'm just sorry I didn't know after the third round, because as Touš said, I was ready to die out there!"
