Even Mike Tyson wants Conor McGregor to be successful in his comeback, but it won't be that easy.

Notorious has been full on MMA training and all of us are anxiously awaiting when he will enter USADA anti-doping mode so the UFC can put him in a fight. Due to regulations, however, we won't see that fight until next year at the earliest, as Conor has to stay in the anti-doping pond for a full six months.

But the bottom line is that Conor insists he will be back and everyone is in awe of his comeback. "It will be the most epic story in the history of our sport!" he entices fans, adding that he will be appearing at Welterweight, where he will attempt to become the first man in the UFC to win his third title.

Will he make it? Is he making the right decision with the Welterweight? And will he really come back as he promises? The famous Mike Tyson himself talked about it all on the Fight Card podcast.

"Conor obviously wants to make amends for his previous hesitation. He's the biggest star of our time and he's not about to admit there's anyone better than him. But if he is to come back and shine again, he needs to get a few fights in first to prove to himself that he still has what it takes. He needs to convince not only himself, but more importantly the public who, in my opinion, have stopped believing in him.

How long has he been out of the game? Two years? Three years? That's a long time. The game is always shifting, and you never know how it's gonna feel when it comes back on. Especially as it's been mentioned here that it's going to be a new weight class that McGregor isn't used to...

I don't know if he's making the right decision, but my advice to him is to take two or three fights and if he catches on, go for the title. People love him and love to see him, but whether he's really up to it, he's got to prove that to all of us. And to start with the hardest one right away wouldn't be good," suggested Iron Mike, whose words make it clear he doesn't want McGregor to be rushed in his comeback and go into a challenge that would have the same result as Ira's last two fights.
