The announcement of the opponent for the first Czech in the UFC brought an unprecedented wave of heckling, which included not only domestic fans and fighters, but also a slightly disgraced Polish side.

Even after his defeat, Karlos Vémola is a huge attraction for many European fighters. Terminator's fame has reached beyond our northern borders without any problems, and so in addition to Michal Materla, Rafal Haratyk also wanted to join the action.

"Hello OKTAGON MMA. I heard that you are still looking for an opponent for Karlos Vemola. I'm ready and I've been waiting for your answer for two days. Surely the problem isn't that your chicken is afraid of a real fighter?" Haratyk said on his Twitter account.

However, the Polish fighter, who used to be in the ACA, forgot to add that he is currently under investigation by the French anti-doping agency.

The AFLD did not like the urine sample he submitted after the fight in the Ares FC organization. At the moment the investigation is still ongoing and Ondrej Novotny does not want to take a fighter with an unresolved doping scandal under his wing. However, OKTAGON is still negotiating with Haratyk, so it is possible that we will see him at one of the next tournaments.

However, the absence in the attractive match with the Czech legend made the Polish manager of Artnox Artur Gwozdz, who tried in vain to arrange the match. He confirmed his efforts by delivering a written document terminating his contract with Ares FC, but even that did not help.

"Dear friends, you may have already noticed that T-Chicken already has an opponent. I have done everything possible to make the fight with Rafal Haratyk happen. I even managed to deliver a written release from Ares FC today, but even that was not enough. Now everyone can see that Vémola has better protection than a crown witness in a mafia trial."
